You can log a visit from the Map, the Collection tab, or by searching for a resort. Find your resort, tap it, then tap "Add a Visit" to get started.
When adding photos, Slopestory reads the date and location from your photo metadata (EXIF data) to match them to your visit. For best results, make sure your photos have the correct date and location before importing. If you're using photos sent by a friend or screenshots of videos, we recommend creating an album in your iOS Photos app first and checking that the dates and location are accurate before importing.
Discovery is Slopestory's AI-powered resort recommendation tool. Answer a few quick questions about your skill level, preferred terrain, and travel vibe, and Slopestory will suggest 5 resorts tailored to you. Find it in the Search feature inside the app.
Open any resort and tap the wishlist ⭐ icon to save it to your bucket list. You can view all your wishlisted resorts from your profile. It's a great way to plan your next season.
Slopestory can generate an AI summary for any visit or album. Open a visit or album and tap "Generate Summary." The AI will learn your personality and write a short recap based on your photos and trip details. Summaries are a great way to capture the story behind your trips.
You can check your storage usage in your profile settings. The storage bar shows how much of your plan's storage you've used. If you're running low, you can upgrade to Bluebird or Powder Day for more.
The map shows all verified resorts around the world. Tap any resort to view details, check photos, and add it to your collection. Resorts are verified by our team to ensure the information is accurate. Use the map to explore new destinations or find resorts near you.
Use the search bar to find resorts by name, country, region or pass affiliation. Tap a result to open the resort detail page where you can add it to your collection or wishlist.
To delete a visit, go to My Resorts, tap the resort, find the visit and swipe left to delete. Note that deleting a visit will also remove all photos associated with it.
Open any photo and tap the heart icon to mark it as a favorite. Favorited photos are highlighted in your visit and album views.
Slopestory is built local-first, so everything saves to your device instantly. If you're on the mountain with poor connectivity or close the app mid-upload, don't worry — your visits and photos are queued and will sync automatically when you're back online or reopen the app. You'll never lose a memory because of bad signal.
Tap your profile icon to open your profile. Tap your avatar to upload a new photo, or tap your name to edit it.
Slopestory has three storage tiers:
Free — 5GB storage, up to 10 photos per visit, 3 AI resort discoveries and 5 AI summaries per month.
Bluebird — 15GB storage, up to 30 photos per visit, 10 AI discoveries and unlimited summaries per month.
Powder Day — 50GB storage, unlimited photos per visit, and unlimited AI features.

You can request account deletion from your profile settings. Tap "Delete Account" and follow the prompts. This will permanently remove your account, all your visits, photos, and data from Slopestory. This action cannot be undone.
Tap your profile icon, scroll to the bottom and tap "Sign Out."
If you spot incorrect information on a resort, open the resort detail page, tap the three dot menu in the top right and select "Something wrong?" Fill out the form and we'll review it. Once verified, the update will appear on the map for everyone.
Deleted a book draft you did not mean to? Do not panic. We keep a safety copy of deleted drafts for 60 days, with all your layouts, captions and write-ups intact. Get in touch through Help & Support and we will restore it for you. After 60 days the copy is removed for good, so reach out as soon as you can.

Yes, Slopestory is free to download and use. Free accounts include core features like logging visits, adding photos, and exploring the resort map. Bluebird and Powder Day plans unlock more storage, additional AI features, and discounts on photo books.
Slopestory is iOS only for now. Android is on the roadmap but we don't have a date yet. You can view and vote on upcoming features on our Canny upvote page.
Your photos are stored securely in the cloud. You own your data and we never share it with third parties. You can delete your photos or your account at any time.

You can submit a new resort if it doesn't exist or flag incorrect information directly from within the app. We go through a quality pipeline to ensure all our resort information is correct. Once verified, resorts appear on the map for everyone to see.
